Don’t Believe The Lie
Our minds are very tricky, they retain everything that anyone has said to us or about us. We base our decisions off of other peoples opinions of who they believe we are. One day we wake up filled with anxiety, depression, self loathing, confusion, mistrust, speculation just because we believe the lie.
Don’t Make a Permanent Decision in an Emotional State
From there we begin our deductions on why we are being treated a certain way. Our perception is skewed because we are looking through a fractured window. We can’t see clearly because we haven’t come up with what is the real truth about who we are. From the time we were very young we were told things that became our belief system. Ever wonder whose voice you are listening to in your head. It’s not your own, it’s most likely from decades ago. When you didn’t live up to someone else’s expectation, so they may have called you stupid, incompetent, lazy, unworthy you get the picture.
Enter in the What If’s
Pause, do not enter! Fear (false evidence appearing real). When we make assumptions what we are doing is projecting what someone might say. Without the truth we begin to cause ourselves unnecessary suffering.
Every thought comes with a choice. Is this truth or an opinion. Once you know your truth and stand in your identity, you are no longer a slave to the opinions of people.
Is this something you deal with I would love to hear from you.
